337 Acton Mews, London E8 4EA, UK (Map & Directions)
We'll meet at Draughts, at 337 Acton Mews; we might choose another place nearby if it is overcrowded. I will randomly say 4pm (but really we're discussing timing below).
Previously: I've been in London and met some of y'all before. Looks like I'll be there again this coming weekend (Nov 14-16). I've got a few things scheduled but would love to see those of you I've met before again, or meet some new London folk.

Best for me is likely Saturday eveningish, but feel free to make other suggestions.

I think first we need to narrow down to an area.
I'll be lurking about near Dalston (At the Proud Archivist pub by the canal) on Saturday, but I can probably swing by most places on my way to or from there.

Ah. I'm staying nearest to Victoria station, I think, but I am happy to travel wherever (by tube or bus).

I would suggest this place: draughts, except it opens Saturday so it could be a bit crazy.

Anyhow I can be free from mid afternoon onwards, and am especially interested in dinner time exploits. I don't really know London, so it is hard for me to pick an area. Where do y'all usually meet up?

A common meetup place is in Clerkenwell at the Crown Tavern, but really they are all over the place.

Fortuitously Draughts is RIGHT NEXT to the pub I will be at anyway. So how about we say Draughts (337 Acton Mews, Haggerston, Hackney) with a backup at the Proud Archivist (2-10 Hertford Rd, London N1 5SH)in case it's crazy busy? (Which also has gaming available)

Sure, sounds lovely. I am in principal free from about 3 pm on, so I can do either afternoon or evening (or I supposed both) depending on what works for other people.

I will go ahead and put Draughts down as the official location.

Nat! I'd love to see you again, but I'm still a 'definitely maybe' at this stage (curse you, work). If I do turn up (and I hope to – I'd love a game of Scrabble as well as a catch-up with you) it won't be until after 5. I'll keep an eye on this thread for developments.

Right. I am here at Draughts and it looks lovely, but I won't grab a table until at least one more of us shows up. I am standing awkwardly with a ginger beer.

I've met Nat in draughts and it's very busy so we're going to head to the backup pub, the proud archivist, just over the road. We have a big table on the left in the light box

Grab a table and sit gazing mysteriously into the middle distance! I'm leaving work now – much looking forward to seeing you, Just this Baby, y'know? and his daddy, not to mention anyone else who shows up. I'm also gagging for a large glass of Savvy B and a fierce game of Scrabble. I'll be there in about half an hour.
