"Books to Beers", Regina Saskatchewan's recurring gathering of librarians and other library-type folks will pull double-duty as a an honourary MetaFilter meet-up as Jessamyn West is in town to speak at the annual Regina Public Library staff conference.
The meet-up happens this Friday in the Bushwakkers Club Room (downstairs) from 4:30pm until the last librarian goes home! (Spare the stereotypes - this will likely be quite late and possibly quite messy as well!)

Sadly, I now live four hours away, so I likely won't be able to make it. Jessamyn and others, enjoy the Dewdney Avenue night life!
