It's been a while since we've had an Edmonton meetup. Let's meet up December 3rd, 6pm at Urban Diner in Garneau.
Me too. Tiramisu on 124th St. is nice, or perhaps the Common downtown.

I love The Common but it's 18+.
Tiramisu is a great idea because it won't be too noisy so we can actually carry on a conversation.
I'm going to throw out a couple other ideas too:
Manor Bistro
Three Boars (we'd need to make a reservation)
Tres Carnales
Urban Diner
Is there a specific night of the week that works best for folks?

Three Boars might be too small. If we get a similar size to the group that showed up last time...

Sounds cool! I'd love to finally meet you guys. Any night is fine for me. Cafe Tiramisu is a bit harder to reach than the others, though. Still accessible at two bus rides, but not a fun place to get home from when it's dark and cold out.

Tres Carnales is tiny and often crowded. There's a large Urban Diner across from Garneau Theatre people might find convenient, but closes at 9 most nights. (Then again: night time breakfast.) My vote is for anywhere transit accessible where we'll be able to hear each other talk.

I like the Garneau Urban Diner idea. Close to the LRT and the number 9 bus route. We could meet early-ish (6pm?) and anyone who cares to continue on after 9pm could pop over to Sugarbowl, Remedy, or somewhere else nearby.
Tuesday nights are generally good for me. How do folks feel about a Tuesday night?

So my husband told me my mother-in-law was arriving for her week-long visit on Thursday, but it turns out she is actually arriving Tuesday (today). Ack!
I will still drop in tonight but may not be able to stay long. Haven't made a reservation yet but Urban Diner is usually pretty quiet on a weeknight. I'll call at lunchtime today to reserve a couple tables for us.
