This is a monthly screening/exhibition inspired by the Meet The Lady tumblr blog (a former MetaFilter Project and FPP). The show consists of film/TV clips, live performances, and ribald entertainments presented variety-show style, hosted by yours truly. This month's subject will be films which fall under the category Hagsploitation!
Featuring presentations by several NYC mefites! Join us afterward for a perfume-sampling party in the 92YTribeca cafe, featuring hag-inspired fragrances by gothic perfumer Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (a company which sponsors several of my web exploits).
92YTribeca is very close to the A,C,E,1,N,Q,R, and W trains. There's a cafe attached to the screening room that sells food, beer, and wine which you can bring into the screening room. Let's hang out!

I haven't announced this anywhere else yet, but it looks like Lorna Raver, who played the old gypsy woman in Drag Me To Hell, is going to call in live to our show to discuss her movie and the show's topic.

Aw man, I wish I was cool enough to get somebody to call in =(. Maybe I should take inspiration from your last show and call my mom...it'd be fitting. If I have time I could read letters my mom wrote me, ha.

It all depends on work schedule, but I'm now like 75% there.

I love MTL, it feels like a real life FPP. ALSO LORNA RAVER ACTUALLY SHOWED UP. How cool is that?
