This is a monthly variety show inspired by the Meet The Lady tumblr blog (a former MetaFilter Project and FPP). The show consists of film/TV clips, live performances, and ribald entertainments presented variety-show style, hosted by yours truly. This month the theme is "stalker cinema."
Featuring fireside chats with Sean Donnelly (director of Tiffany stalk-doc I Think We're Alone Now), Peter J. Cook (director of a new cable reality series about stalkers), and Peculiar Beauty author Bonnie Downing. Performances by Joe's Pub cabaret star Roslyn Hart and burlesque sensation Iris Explosion; also, perfume recommendations for stalkers by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, and self-defense tips from my gun-dealing dad in Arizona.
92YTribeca is walking distance from the A,C,E,1,N,Q,R, and W trains. There's a cafe attached to the screening room that sells food, beer, and wine which you can bring into the screening room. Let's hang out!

If it helps, the next one will be on Feb 19th, a mere three weeks later.
*drops from exhaustion*
Oh, also we'll be joined by Kate Wilkinson, the costar/creator of "Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy," a play which starred Corey Feldman in the Michael Douglas role.
We'll miss you, Eideteker! I need to start getting more diligent about filming, I usually only end up with a few clips on my camcorder which I'm too lazy to upload anywhere.

Of the stories I HAVE heard of hermitosis' dad, I imagine Llewelyn Moss from No Country for Old Men as the basic template for look and general demeanor, with a smidge of Brock Samson from The Venture Bros.

Just found out that Jessica Harper (star of "Suspiria" and "The Phantom of the Paradise") is going to appear via Skype to talk about her new cookbook (which I recently FPP'd).
So freakin' excited.
