I've been spending some time recently at a new co-working and event space called The Outpost, a permanent offshoot of the XOXO Fest that been running in town the last few years. As part of the XOXO festival, MetaFilter is sponsoring an afternoon of gaming at Ground Kontrol, the awesome 80s throwback arcade/bar. All the games will be on freeplay from 2pm to 5pm and the venue will normally be closed to all but XOXO attendees. If you're not lucky enough to be one of the ~500 attendees of XOXO, there should be room for MeFites to enjoy the space as well, just tell the doorman "I'm with the MetaFilter Meetup" to get in without a XOXO pass.
