Paris evening meet up -- show me somewhere fun!

I'm going on a quick trip around Europe in early August, and ending up in Paris on Saturday the 10th. Anyone around and like to meet up that evening?
I'm going for dinner with a friend but will be free afterwards. I propose drinks somewhere nice, but I know nothing about the city so perhaps one of you more Parisian mefites can suggest somewhere good?
I can bring poi, card games, and a nearly-bottomless supply of googly eyes. Thanks eBay.

Ooh I might be in Paris on the 10th! I really didn't expect to find a meetup happening, but I'd love to come if you guys still want to do it. I can bring...um...my smiling face! Yay 3 person Paris meetup!

Vacation, sandwiched between...well I guess you'd call it professional development. I'm in the Cheese biz in the states, and am working with the Mons company for a few weeks on either end of my trip. You'd think I'd know French, but alas, only Spanish. But I can speak Cheese fluently :)
