I'm going to be speaking at the Open Hardware Summit at the New York Hall of Science on the 15th, and leaving the 18th. I miss the hell out of you New Yorkers and I'd love to meet the NYC Mefi crew. Let's get drinks and be loud and stay out late. Or let's get drinks and be tame and sit around in parks. Or whatever.
I have no preference other than that my days in NYC be full of awesome mefites. I miss ya and often dream of the east coast.
As it happens I'll be in New York that weekend, too. For what it's worth I'll be in Midtown, so as between Queens and Chelsea I'd prefer Chelsea.

Chelsea it is - great. Now that we have a rough area, any place suggestion? I enjoyed Rub BBQ for food last time, but most drinking happened out and about.
the young rope-rider, I'll gladly take your couch - maybe I can be of some use around the place, and of course, if something changes, no problem at all.

Oh, and Chelsea. There are a bunch of bars right around there - 23/24/25th & 8th. My dude lives up there, I'll ask him for suggestions.

Depends on when we start. I'm seeing How to Succeed in Business at 8 on Friday, so early Friday or late Friday would work for me. Alternatively Saturday night.

I just want to say thank you so much to all the awesome people I met. I'm not exaggerating when I say those were some of the best days and times that I have had in months and months. Floors, couches, burnt ends and late nights and quick storage made it all a lot more than I imagined.
It was great to be among you and thank you for being so generous.
