Karaoke Meetup/Birthday Bash (The Return!)

Given the success/awesome time we all had at my 30th birthday party last year, I've decided to book the same room at the same place for this year.
The deal is much the same as last year. We get a private karaoke room, with a bar, disco ball, and stage. There's room for 20+ people, so don't hesitate. I am putting my own money down for the room and I'm on the hook for the tab (including a minimum drink total for the group, so drink up!), so I am asking folks to bring cash. I quoted "$16" last year; most people just chipped in a $20. And as good a time as we had last year, that was a really good value. As always, if cashflow looks like it will be a problem for you, e-mail/MeFiMail me and we can talk. It's my birthday, so having you all there is the real present (And that's not just blowing smoke, we had a TOTAL BLAST last year, no joke).
Last year, we had the room for 2 hours, and I think we extended it to 3 (or maybe 2.5) because there wasn't another party booked right after ours. This year, I'm doing the same thing; I've reserved the room for 2 hours (but haven't made my deposit yet; as I thought, I have to go in person). If there's strong response, I'll reserve it for three hours. I'm thinking 9-11pm right now, but we can totally make that 8-11 (or whatever hours people prefer) if folks are really interested. Again, I just need to see the response, because I'm on the hook for the extra scratch if we commit to more karaoke than we can handle. But if I don't know in advance and someone else books the room, we can't extend. We got lucky last year! So if you want to party hard, speak up!
So what hours work for you folks? And who's in? Let's make last year's bash look like the Medvedev to this year's Putin!

Oh, my impression is that going to the karaoke thing would definitely cost money/rsvp and I was wondering if people were going to a normal bar where I can stand around and get some seltzer.
And I don't like Karaoke.

If you're not going to sing or drink, there's no cost to attend (other than subway fare). Esp. not for you, fuq. But the room is at a set cost, not per-head, so I have no problems with it if you just want to come and hang out. You're free to show up whenever or bail.
Last time, we went to Revival afterwards. I was going to try to reserve their back patio afterwards if folks are cool with that (and thanks for reminding me, btw... need to make that call).

And did we ever! I think we had like 30 people tonight! Amazing turnout and SO. MUCH. TALENT.
We have to come back and get a smaller room sometime soon. Maybe semi-regularly.
And we're definitely doing this again next year! Mark your calendars!

Such a good time, with so much enthusiastic awesomeness from everyone. Special props to the birthday boy and girl, but the MVP award goes to The Pink Superhero, who needs to audition for the next season of "The Voice" or "American Idol" or something.
I hope copious pictures, videos, and audio recordings were taken (though I assume that this is not the case, so let's be on that for next time).
