Spring Cleaning - Decluttering, Organizing, Etc

Thought I'd start a new post since, well, decluttering, cleaning, life tasks are ongoing. Thanks to mochapickle and paduasoy for the continual motivation!
My To Do For this week:
Tackle my work space - it's piled up with papers, books, magazines
Get rid of or minimize the bunch of boxes right next to my work space
Sign the kids up for summer camps

Thank you! I'm not entirely sure where I am with it all. I have made loads of progress (with the help of online decluttering coach) but the last task, which cleared out Room 2, involved a large pile created in Room 1 of stuff which needs to go to charity shops. I'm rather dependent on others to help with this, and not sure when I'll be able to get that help.
I only have one session left with the declutterer, and have been wondering about asking her to continue on a life coach basis to support me in getting some other - research mainly - projects done. But it's a lot of money and a lot to think about.

Ok, so the other 2 items are still ongoing. But:
1. Sorted out my taxes, just gotta drop it in the mail on Monday.
2. Called our handyman and gave him a list of stuff to do.
3. Getting my kids to help out more with chores is actually very helpful. They respond very well to checking things off lists.
Paduasoy, hope your last session with the declutterer goes well!
I still have to get some stuff out thru Buy Nothing. I had a brain fart a few weeks ago and posted the items and completely forgot I did it. So now I'm going to have to re-do it.

I signed up for the Apartment Therapy thing and I never got any emails from them... This has happened before, I think there's an issue with the mailing list.
But! I did spring clean my bedroom yesterday, which meant washing all the linens, washing the floors and baseboards, cleaning every surface, dismantling the tower of books on the nightstand, getting the dust out of the window tracks, and improvising a repair for one of the bedframe posts (so far, so good).
On to the living room! Or the bathroom, maybe?
paduasoy, I'd been wondering on my own about getting a coach of some kind for a similar thing. Did you move forward with that? What are your thoughts?

Hello, mochapickle, toastyk and others. Checking in to report I'm halfway through a cupboard clear-out. I'm at the stage where I'm grimy, hot and tired but can't stop because everything is spread out everywhere. Though I have stopped for a break and to let my knees breathe.
I haven't actually had the final decluttering coach session yet - had to delay as I had some commitments I couldn't move, and now we have two Monday bhs, so it's Monday week. I'm still unsure about using the coach as a general life coach. I've got a lot on for the next few months, so considering delaying to the autumn. Also, her rates are higher for life coaching than decluttering, so I have to think about that.

I am getting the spare bedroom up and ready for the summer. It's on the north side, and it was an addition, so it's absolutely freezing in the winter but a joy in the summertime and I plan to spend much more time in there over the next several months. I also made it to the DEA dropoff day with a large bag of random unused medications, it's nice to have that finally scratched off the list.
The yard, the yard, the yard, it needs so much work I don't even know where to begin!
