Lounging in Cambridge
I'm co-hosting and DJing a pre-opening party at O Sushi in Cambridge on Harvard Square. This is going to be a weekly event after the new year, and if there are any fellow MeFites interested in swanking it up on Friday nights this will (hope hope!) be a good place to do it without ever having to hail a cab or utter the words "red line." The second production of a self-assembling play by Bunny Sparber. A book club gathers to discuss a selection of vintage pornographic novels. Each performer provides a summary and a reading from their book. New books are assigned to random audience members. [more inside]

The premiere of my play Sleaze Book Club -- a self-assembling play in which the cast reads pulpy adult literature from the mid-20th century, reads their favorite passages aloud, and then gives a book report. And that's it. That's the entire play. [more inside]
