Hi! After discussion about the DSA in the politics megathread and some enthusiastic PMs, someone suggested we make an IRL event (thanks bilabial!). This is pretty much what it says on the tin. I've never been to this working group before, so I don't totally know what to expect, but I would be happy to meet up with various MeFites there. This is the DSA's description of the event.

Socialize With The Socialists! Holiday Party and concert featuring dreamwave band Sounds Of Ceres (music video) and decor by yours truly in the legendary (underground but actually above ground ) music venue. 8pm-12. 20$ suggested. "Shell Game!" an exhibition of nine 6x4 foot paintings depicting the revolutions of 2011 by Molly Crabapple will finally be available for public viewing on April 14th, 7-10pm at the Smart Clothes Gallery, located at 154 Stanton Street, between Houston and Suffolk, New York City.
