If the event title appeals to you perhaps we can chat and get to know one another :) I am a Canadian woman in my early 30s with vacation time from January onwards, and no idea how to spend it. Rather than throw a dart at a map (while I chant unspeakable abominations) maybe this will help me refine my plan. I am just looking to make friends who share my interests. More inside...

I would like to meet people who are fans of any or all of the items below, purely to make friends! I am planning vacation time sometime in 2015 and no matter where you are, if we have fun conversations it would help me pick a place to visit and get to hangout with you! Or maybe you live in Canada as I do, in which case a meetup is easy.

I especially adore H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, and Robert Bloch... X-Files... Supernatural horror films... Vincent Price movies or the Addams Family movies which are rather comedic ...Comics like Haunted Horror, X-Files Season 10, Thor, Afterlife With Archie... Metal/ Rock /80s rock music including Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, Behemoth, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Def Leppard, Whitesnake... The Eagles... Brilliant Medieval scholars like Peter Brown, Gregory of Tours, Caroline Walker Bynum, Patrick Gea ... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!!!

Edit: I should clarify I'll be staying at a hotel if I visit and will have my own means of transportation, I am not looking for a host.
