Howdy, Perth and WA MetaFilter! As you may have guessed from my funny accent in this post, I'm not from around here. under_petticoat_rule and I have been gratefully "stuck" in Oceania due to COVID and are now visiting your fine city. We heard that, like Angelenos, Perthians (Perthers?) like brunch. Care to join us, say at Local & Aesthetic?

Calling any and all Perth/WA mefites! We are currently the only mainland state in Australia to never have had an IRL meetup. This should not continue. If you're going to be in Perth in the next few weeks and would like to meet, please drop a line in this thread or memail me. I would propose meeting at a bar in the city around 5pm on say a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday but am open to suggestions. [more inside]
