Proposal: That the NYC dwelling Mefites do take up a great burden and escape the Heated and Tortuous confines of the Concrete Jungle toward the Edenic and Splendid pastorals of Beacon, NY on a Day Trippe on Sunday The 25th of August. The village is reachable via Metro-North and contains Many Sources Of Amusement, such as the DIA: Beacon and humble, Hudson Valley charm. What say you, Urbanites? [more inside]

If you would like to join us, purchase ferry tickets with monument access (if available) for the 1pm timeslot. Ferry tickets do sell out, so if you plan to come, don't wait until the last minute. "Shell Game!" an exhibition of nine 6x4 foot paintings depicting the revolutions of 2011 by Molly Crabapple will finally be available for public viewing on April 14th, 7-10pm at the Smart Clothes Gallery, located at 154 Stanton Street, between Houston and Suffolk, New York City.
