Hey Hoosiers! How about an afternoon of bowling with your fellow Mefites? I had in mind the Expo Bowl in Beech Grove- sort of a throwback kind of meetup. Anyone interested? Bowling, beer, and family-style fun! If we get enough folks we can get two lanes & really look pro :)

I'm planning on moving to the area next Spring, and this is my research trip. I've wanted to do this since 1977, so it's long overdue, and I'm ridiculously excited. I'd love to have a meetup! Imperial Lanes on Rainier Avenue will be open and near empty on Christmas, and, for that matter, New Year's Day. I and some friends will be there on both days. We had a blast at the last bowling meetup we had. All of you at loose ends this Chistmas evening are welcome to join us. And ditto for New Year's Day, as well...

I have spent the evenings of Christmas Day, New Year's Day and a number of Sundays since bowling with a friend at Imperial Lanes in Rainier Valley. We have had a wonderful time every time. Experience strongly suggests a meetup there on another Sunday evening would work out fine. Especially since this time it seems fairly likely that it will not be snowing.

So, I thought I would submit the place -- again -- for a bowling meetup on April 15th. [more inside]

I spent the evenings of both Christmas Day and New Year's Day bowling with a friend at Imperial Lanes down in Rainier Valley. We had a wonderful time. I can't say what it would be like on a regular night, but there were plenty of lanes open both times we went. I can't speak for what it would be like on a weeknight but I suspect another Sunday evening would work out fine.
