Are any other mefites going to Dapper Day (April 23rd) at Disneyland this year? I thought it might be a neat thing to meet up and grab a bite and see how awesome we all are? [more inside]

Going to Disneyland is mostly about having a great capacity to stand in lines. Standing in line with people that would be really interesting to talk to sounds like a win to me. Standing in line with beer in California Adventure land with interesting people would be....magical. [more inside]

I've just registered for VidCon, a convention for online video/Youtube creators and enthusiasts taking place in Anaheim CA from June 26 to 28, and will be there an extra day. It's my first time and I'm wondering if there are any other Mefites going. After some discussion I think the best place will the evening of June 29 at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney, which is accessible free of charge. That said, if you are going to Vidcon, let me know!

After the LA meetup recently I have decided to have another go at organizing an OC/South LA meetup. And what's better for a meet up than cheese! I want to try Knafeh (A near eastern cheese pastry, deep fried with syrup and covered with pistachios) and Anaheim's Knafeh Cafe seems like a good place to give it a shot. I figure we could start off these for cheese and hit some nearby bar for drinks after. Let me know if metafilter is interested before I hit the place on my lonesome.
