After proposing and then totally failing to make it to a Helsinki meet up 2 years ago, I'd like to try again. Thursday (15th August) seems like a good plan, food? drink? somewhere kid friend as I am attending with a kid and a teen. I am from Dublin but the convention is in a part of town that basically didn't exist when I immigrated in the mid-90s, so I don't have a strong feeling about where, though somewhere near the Point Square part of the con might work?

The Mr and I will be in Ireland for three weeks, starting Feb 11. I'd love to meetup with fellow mefites while we're there! [more inside]

I've over in Dublin until July 1st, and wondering if any Mefites would like to meet up? We can either drink to forget or to celebrate whatever the result of the referendum is.
