Since a few people expressed interest who couldn't make it last time, trivia is on again this Tuesday at Folly Brewpub. Trivia starts at 7pm, but I'm generally there from 6:30. Last time we had a resounding win, so we need to try to retain our crown. Very low stakes, only a round of beer, but always fun.

I'll be in Minneapolis from October 8th through the 12th with nothing to do in the evenings. The current plan is to meet at Hell's Kitchen at 6 pm on the 10th. More inside.

Hi folks, moving our monthly meetup to the THIRD Sunday of this month, and LAST-MINUTE changing to Coffeed as the locale again. As usual, all portable crafts welcome.

I want to go to Tamara Shopsin's reading with John Hodgman at Books Are Magic if work doesn't wear me out too much. If you'd like to come too, that'd be cool! We could also get dinner and/or drinks at one of many nearby drinking and dining establishments (like Leyenda, perhaps?). [more inside]

A very low-key social partner dance: easy to try for newbies; traditional energetic as well as modern gentle music for the partner dances; an open-role dance for those who like it. From 7:20-8pm we teach a free lesson for *total beginners* that will get you through Walking That Counts as Dancing, and give you a try at either rotary waltz or polka, which are gloriously whirly.
