Join us after work at the original World Famous Billy Goat Tavern for tiny beers and food from the greasy grill. We're fun! We're friendly! Frankly. we're fantastic. Later in the evening, we'll meander over to Livewire Lounge for First Wednesday Karaoke with the incomparable Mary Mac. That's when you'll see how fantastic we truly are. There might be shenanigans in between. You can never be too sure.

I'm not married to this event, but it does sound fun! This happens at the Windup Space once a month. I haven't played many board games but I know it's a popular thing to do around MeFi. I haven't seen any Baltimore meetups since I've been here, so figured why not! [more inside]

Hi MeFite pals! I'm flying into Lexington on Friday, 8/11 for a wedding and will have some time to kill. I'd love to meet up with some MeFites. Can I convene a lil' IRL meetup perhaps? Grabbing a beer? Lookin' at art? I'm fun to hang with, I promise! (Also headed to Berea, KY for a wedding on Saturday, so if anyone is up that way or has tips on fun Berea things to do (besides watch a friend get hitched), I'm gladly taking suggestions!)
