This is a monthly variety show inspired by the Meet The Lady tumblr blog (a former MetaFilter Project and FPP). I'm in town for the weekend, and was already planning to meet with folks at Shorty's before knowing about Jordan, Jess GO!. But I am stubborn and propose we meet there again. And then I am planning to go to the Cinerama's 3D showing of Tron Legacy at 7pm, for those who want to come along.

Anybody at loose ends in San Francisco on Dec 25th? How 'bout we go to Crissy Field and look at birds (lots of migratory birds hang out here in winter), and watch the dogs romping in the surf. Bring your own pooch and leash, too. [more inside]

That tattered fragment of the ghost of its former self, the Fun Forest sees its last weekend ever fall on the first weekend of the New Year. After 7 PM, Sunday, January 2nd, 2011, there will no more rides, games, lazer tag or bumper cars. So, I propose Bumper Cars at 5 PM and then, after 7 PM, conversations that sparkle like wine, with finger foods and beverages on the side, at a warm, convivial and comfortable venue location to be determined later but not far from the Seattle Center. Maybe a venue along the lines of the 1st Avenue Elysian--that was a fun meetup... [more inside]

Hello, you wonderful glaswegian mefites - i was thinking of coming over ( if the m8 isnt shut) to partake of some culture (paul hill 3pm at streetlevel) and i thought no visit to glasgow is complete with seeing your mefitenesses and some steakbakes from the greggs near central station. Although I do propose the greggs at central station as an initial venue - I'm open to changing it - this is for saturday btw.
