So let's do it: a Denver/Boulder MeFi Geeks Who Drink trivia meetup at 8:00 pm, Monday, November 12, at the British Bulldog. The Bulldog was selected for its excellent proximity to public transportation.

Hi all. Brujita is visiting our Rob Ford-plagued fair city October 22 to November 11. Would anyone like to get together to say hello to her, imbibe assorted beverages, and generally hang out? Her visit gives us a generous window of time, and as to the venue I will only say we should pick something central — I'll ask brujita where she's staying so we can narrow it down to a place convenient to her.

I will be hosting card, word, board and strategy games in my home in Beacon Hill this Saturday. IMPORTANT: The address given here is of the VA hospital, which is very nearby my home (metafilter will not allow me to simply use cross-streets and I don't feel comfortable posting my address). Let's see what Monday brings, but it's as likely as not that this meetup will be postpwned by the storm. The meetup in September was fun. Let's do it again! The Windup Space has a regular board game night on the last Tuesday of the month. Leave a note if you think you can make it.

I'm wondering if there is enough interest to have a non-RPG gaming session in one of the more southern neighborhoods of Seattle. I could host in my home in Beacon Hill (preferred), or at a public venue somewhere not incredibly far away, such as Georgetown, Capitol Hill, or Seward Park. Tuesday or Fridays work best for me (anytime), second choice would be Sunday late afternoon/evening, third choice would be Saturday. Saturdays that would work for me in the foreseeable future are October 20th and November 10th. Sundays that wouldn't work are October 28th and November 4th. [more inside]
