Hi all – Moving back to NYC after many of my friends left/had kids/etc wasn't a positive thing for my social life. Same goes for being self-employed and working from home. Who wants to play some cribbage, put some records on, and have a drink? [more inside]

The recent weather here in the Triangle has me wanting to get out of the house more and get to know some of my fellow local MeFites better. Would people be interested in going to a trivia night somewhere? I hear the Wednesday night Bull McCabes trivia is good, though I haven't been before. [more inside]

Any of y'all headed to the Free and Open Source Developers' European Meeting 30-31 January in Brussels, Belgium? I'm going there (and giving a couple of talks), and would enjoy getting to meet other MeFites. The evening of the 29th or sometime on Feb. 1 would also work for me.

Pub Trivia! Freewheel Brewing Company in Redwood City. Hosted by MeFi’s own Space Coyote. Next Monday, or maybe a different one? (That is, not this coming Monday, but next Monday: February 1.)
