(I am no way affiliated with this event.)

From his Tumblr:

Join us for Nintendo trivia, a Q&A, video game challenges, and nerdy snacks that will make you feel like you’re back in you parents’ basement replaying your favorite games!

Anyone read the book? I'm not proud but I feel like these kinds of things are usually written for general audiences way down the geeky-knowledge curve from me, and I'm not sure how much I would learn.
