With various people’s world travels wrapped up and the UW summer quarter over and the MeFi financial situation as dire as ever, what say we get together again at the George and Dragon to make our weekly cash withdrawal for the cause?
This is the extended description which I don’t really have anything to add, except maybe to ask: the bartendress at G and D is pregnant right? Advanced cases of cirrhosis look like pregnancy due to protein catalysis and fluid accumulation in the peritoneum and liver failure seems more likely at the G and D than fertility. But she’s friendly and likes us and as long as I know she’s not dying I’ve been saving up my line: “What are you having? A baby?”
I won't be there, but Helen might be. Call us a 1, maybe.

Oh, and to answer your question, Lauren (said bartender) told me she is in fact pregnant. So, no rude guessing :P
