I am helping organize Sacramento's first Mobile Food Festival. We're trying to change a few holdouts on the city council regarding the utility of such businesses - i.e., mobile food trucks and carts - and to overturn the current regulations which pretty much outlaw them inside city limits. We'll have over two dozen vendors, from taco trucks to vegan food and gourmet middle-eastern fare. Any Mefites who show up & identify themselves to me (ask any staffpeople, they'll know where I am - ask for Joshua) will get 1 free taco from the taco truck of their choice (we'll have 2 or 3, in addition to 2 dozen other vendors of all sorts).

This sounds lovely and a foodie weekend would be fun! I live up in Tahoe but this might be a good reason to wander down the hill and escape the snow. Good luck!
