308 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
Hey all! I'm putting on an air hockey tournament to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union. The event is called Give A Puck! Beginners are welcome -- in fact, most of us are beginners! There will be beer, prizes, and a speaker from the ACLU to talk about all the great work they’re doing. Bring your friends! All proceeds go to the ACLU.
The venue is a super chill pool hall in Brooklyn, a couple blocks from Barclays Center. So, it's close to nearly every conceivable subway. They've got a big bar/restaurant area, so plenty of room to hang out and gather. It promises to be a super fun night, and a great way to raise money for a vital cause.

When your civil liberties are under attack, what do you do? Stand up, fight back ... with air hockey!

Excellent. I can't attend because I'm not available Thursdays, but thanks for doing this!

Of course! It's going to be a lot of fun -- and for a damn good cause!

I'll be in Manhattan for work that week and this looks like an easy 30min subway ride! I'll be there, likely with a friend or two. Should we buy tickets in advance?

Whichever is more convenient for you. I guess it's a little easier for us if you buy them in advance because it gives us an idea of how many are coming, but it's perfectly fine to buy them at the door.
