Thu September 8 at 12:00 PM, Needles Eye Tunnel
Rollins Pass Rd, Nederland, CO, USA (Map & Directions)
Meet at the Needles Eye Tunnel at noon on the 8th of Sept by driving up the East side of Rollins Pass.
Meet at noon on Sept. 8th at the parking area about a mile below the tunnel.
I'll be driving a Silver Toyota Tacoma.
This isn't a very hard offroad route so ordinary SUVs can easilyy make it up. But it is above 11,000 feet so you will have to be prepared for high altitudes.

I'm very inexperienced with off-roading but if the whole trail looks like the picture on Wikipedia then it should be no trouble.

LFR, not doing it on the weekend, but during the week. My brother (from NYC) arrives on Sat 3rd and I don't want to drag him to high alt. on the first few days he's here. So I'm planning on later in the week.
Monochrome, it's about as easy as offroad gets. So don't sweat it.

It ended up just being the three of us in my truck but it was a spectacular day and totally worth the drive up. I've added a few pictures.
