Quiz Night 4: The Quizzening

Tue March 8 at 8:00 PM, The George & Dragon Pub
206 N 36th St, Seattle, WA, USA (Map & Directions)
In which we avenge last week's loss.
Try to be firm on whether you're going or not and be there before 8 (or let us know when you'll arrive) so we can divide into multiple teams if necessary. This of course doesn't apply if you're in a horrendous car accident earlier in the day.

Hahah! This time I promise, no accidents. Only quiz goodness. :)

I'm super-excited about this week! Here's hoping for questions about power metal, 20th century haute couture, and dog breeds.

Ok Hylaea and I are finally coming this time so that will definitely push us into 2 table territory.

Hey this is becoming a Thing! I propose our team names to be "The Blue" and "The Green" and maybe "The Gray" as needed.

But we have to translate that into Byzantine Greek.

Okay to join in if you haven't been before? I used to do pub quiz nights at the Ri-Ra in Bethesda, MD before we moved out here a couple of years ago. Kinda miss it. :)

Hey "Maybe" folks, a reminder to let us know if you're coming so we can subdivide into teams appropriately!

I am most definitely coming and probably even on time!

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to bow out tonight. Best of luck.

I'm here and I've got a decent-sized table staked out. If you've never met me, I'm a 40-ish chick with brown hair, glasses, and a Gaytheist shirt.

Fwiw, there is soccer again, though the Sounders don't appear to be involved.

We are heading out now and should be there in 20-25mins.

Let's be honest: being Seattle, that doesn't really narrow it down.

For those watching at home, Blue Thunder (Metafilter Team One) is tied for first place, while Crimson Ramblers (Metafilter Team 2) came in a very respectable second. I feel we have represented well.

This is the greatest moment of my life. Tacos are on me.

in case you're wondering, the team is named after this book by famed American author Jessamyn West [not MeFi's own Jessamyn].
