Thu September 17 at 7:00 PM, noma
Strandgade 93, 1401 København K, Denmark (Map & Directions)
I am going to eat dinner at noma on September 17th at 7pm. The reservation is for 8 people but so far we only have 4 confirmed diners. I don't know how big the Danish metafilter community is (or if any non-Danes have been hankering for a trip to Copenhagen), but I thought I would see if any mefites would like to join us for dinner.
The cost is 1700 DKK per person (about $250 US), so, you know, not cheap. The reservation was made by a non-mefite I met via the Lonely Planet forum. I have seen the confirmation email from the restaurant and trust that the guy is legit. You would need to arrange payment with him directly as it's his credit card on file. (I am planning to use Paypal once the dinner is over and we have a final bill.)

We only have space for 4 people, but if you have fewer than that number that's fine! I would love to share this once in a lifetime meal with mefites!

I actually fly out on September 16, but can confirm that noma is quite enjoyable if pricey! good luck getting people to join, and if anyone is interested in a separate meetup event say, the weekend before-- ping me!

Hi! Just found IRL, and looking through CPH listings I found yours. I can't attend, but I wanted to let you know about: http://www.reddit.com/r/nomareservations. I connected with, and joined, a couple last year at noma via this subreddit. Its quite active. Good luck!

This is the coolest IRL I have ever seen. Wish I could get in on this! Have a great dinner!

I got an email last night from the reservation holder that he's found people for the additional spots so unfortunately I have to un-invite you all!
