Perhaps you noticed that MeFi now sponsors a cyclist? I have no idea how cyclocross races work, but I guess there are elite races on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Is anyone planning on going?

I'm betting that longtime MeFi user RakDaddy will be racing there.

The events are pretty spectator friendly, since they race around in short laps in a smaller area (courses are usually only 1-1.5 miles long total) than a large road race that might cover hundreds of miles. You can usually walk around an entire course in just a few minutes. I'd suggest hanging out by the barriers, the planks of wood in the ground that they jump off their bikes to jump over (which looks like this). The main races are at 2pm (women) and 3pm (men), and those should be the most exciting since they'll be moving really fast.

That sounds awesome. I hope there is lots of Belgian beer involved.
