Been too long since the last Cardiff meetup, would be nice to have one if possible. Were you thinking somewhere in the centre, down the Bay or somewhere else altogether?

Either in the Center or Bay would be fine for me, but I don't know that much about where would make a good meetup since I just moved here. I live in Llanishen, for what it's worth.

What kind of thing were you fancying? There's a few decent posh beer places now if you're into that kind of thing, Brewdog just opened a pub on Westgate Street opposite the stadium - in fact, Westgate Street also has Urban Taphouse (which does loads of microbrewery stuff) and Zero Degrees (which brews its own beer and does decent pizza). If you want more of an old-man pub then they're actually a bit thin on the ground in the centre, but the Goat Major by the castle is worth a shout. Coffee-wise there's Coffee Barker and Plan in the arcades, or Bramina on Barrack Lane, as well as your standard flock of Costas/Neros/Starbucks.

Llanishen itself I don't know that well, never really been up that way except to the leisure centre and to sort out a tax disc, so I'm afraid I can't make any suggestions closer to your way.

In that case how about 0 Degrees around 12:30? There's decent food if you fancy ameal, decent beer if you fancy a drink and if you dinnae like the place we're in the centre so there's loads of other places around.

What about +1s? You mind if we bring along family?

Hi there, I'd like to join you but I'll be out of Cardiff in the morning and not free until about 3pm. If you want to start earlier it's fine, I can come and see if you're still there if you update me on where you are. I like beer so all those suggestions are good!

Why not just start at 3pm? Would that work for you, Dim Siawns? Also, family is fine with me. My wife will also probably come (though officially she is a mefite).

So wish I could make this. Love Cardiff. Goat Major is my default pub when there, but there are so many from which to choose. If you wherever you end up going has it, look for Untapped Brewing from Raglan. Mates of mine. Nice beers too!

Sorry I can't make it. I barely know Cardiff, but it's not too far away by train, and it sounds like you've got fun stuff planned. I've got fun stuff planned too, but in Dublin. Hopefully I can make the next one!
