Wed August 27 at 7:00 PM, Albany Public Library
161 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
Local musicians will perform original songs inspired by John Steinbeck's classic novel, East of Eden at the Albany Public Library. Capital District MeFites, come on out for a great night of music and literature.
I'll be a kind-of emcee and will read some excerpts from the book. From our rehearsal yesterday night I can tell you the songs are amazing.

This is the second in a very cool series called Reading Music, in which local musicians perform songs inspired by a book or an author. Here are event details from the Library's website.

Here's an article telling how the series came about.
