City Hall Park, Broadway, Manhattan, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
Brooklyn Bridge Walk 2014 - starting on the Manhattan side (meeting point should be the plaza area by the subway entrance near the pedestrian access entryway) we will walk across to check out the food at Smorgasburg and wander around and/or collapse in Brooklyn Bridge Park, on June 15th.

Ok, I've confirmed it for the 15th to get it on the sidebar. I couldn't figure out what street address to use for the map, so, if anyone knows what it should be post it in the thread and I'll update the event.

I now have a work meeting at 9am on Sunday. Wish I could be on a bridge instead of in a garden.

I'm ok with changing to 10:30 -- I mean, we're all getting to the starting point via public transportation, so, everybody is bound to be either early or late anyway.

I hope it won't embarrass anyone too terribly if I bring and possibly use a (rain) umbrella for sun protection. I didn't have time to buy a wide-brim hat yesterday, and all I have is a ball cap. I don't know if there will be room on the bridge itself, but if I can do it I may. I did sunscreen up, but I've been burned - literally and figuratively - before.
