After years of threats and/or promises, me and smasuch will be in SF from the 9th to the 15th of May, and we'd like to meet you fine folks over some local brews!
we're staying at, um, Carl and Willard but are amenable to exploring.
Also: we leave Vancouver on the 6th, and we'll have data across the border but responses might be slow.

That sounds very fun. Magnolia might be a good choice for brews, not far from where you're staying.

best bets right now look like the 11th or 14th, which are Sunday or Wednesday, respectively. We're pretty easy in terms of venue, though I think we'll be going to Mikkeller Bar at some point on the trip so pretty much anywhere else is doable.

That's two blocks from me! Magnolia can be awesome, but also SUPER crowded. Alembic is grand, but kinda spendy. Or perhaps I'm just a cheapass. I love Little Shamrock for their couches & big tables. Classic SF neighborhood bar. Nothing fancy. No food, but BYOB(urrito).

in magnolia! tables are for dinner groups, so we've set up shop at the long table to the left of the entrance—assuming that most people won't stick around for too long, we should be able to take over the table at some point.
