We're in southern Manhattan this week. Near the Delancey-Essex train stop.

Hard to tell; does 138 have food? If not, any recommendations in the area? (And does anyone want to grab some food before the meetup, wrestle it to the ground, and then absorb its nutrients?)

Not sure if I myself would make it in time for fooding, depends on work and what you decide, but my vote is you go to Vanessa's and bring us all dumplings and we collectively buy you a beer because that's how cheap they are.*
* This is hyperbole but only because Local 138 has (at least I hope it still has) good happy hour specials and I think the beer is like $3.

Save the booths in front! Unless there's a better spot or that's not big enough. Also I think there's a borderline creepy back room.
