I've seen one there, I think that if it's chill it's okay. Lately the health department has been cracking down, but that might just be places that also serve food.

I'm a firm maybe, because Saturday is Santacon, and the thought of being stuck on the trains with a drunken horde is nervous-making. It looks like the Brooklyn portion is to the west of the meetup? Gothamist's how to avoid Santacon map. I'm definitely planning on getting to Brooklyn by noon for brunch with my cousin, but I may chicken out of the meetup early to avoid being stuck on the PATH with a lot of Jersey Santas.
