Yay! I'll be there for an abbreviated amount of time (arriving Wednesday night and leaving Friday night =/) but I'm down for chillaxin' with other Mefites in Minneapolis.

Hey, I work right by where the Eeyo conference is going to happen! There are so many awesome restaurants around the convention center in Minneapolis, but there are a few that are especially excellent.

- The Local - awesome local Irish pub with an impressively intricate bar area.
- Butcher and the Boar - a meat-heavy, whiskey-soaked pork-lover's dream.
- Hell's Kitchen - breakfast all day, bison burgers, music, tasty.
- 112 Eatery - a little far away, but run by James Beard winner Isaac Becker, and absolutely delicious.

Okay, I am going to go for 112 Eatery. since it is near Thursday's night event on Nicollet Island. Sorry to leave it so late, but posting now.

I was going to say I can't make it, but it's early enough that maybe I can, though probably not. Anyway, I'll leave this article about vegetarian options at 112 Eatery here because the menu skews heavily meat. (Summary: you'll have to ask them to invent something, but they seem mostly capable of modifying dishes on the fly.)
