Update: I am still free of hot water! I have smudged my eyeliner and I'm wearing flannel, but the grunge look isn't convincing. Seriously though, if anyone wants to let me borrow their shower I would be beyond thrilled! I live in Kensington/Windsor Terrace and I am not a psycho killer.

But I just want to say that this event is entered into my phone as "MeFites!: Brooklyn Birthday Beer Bonanza!".
Clearly I am excited for this event, even though the actual birthday is today, because no amount of macaroni and cheese can cause me to alliterate that much.

YRR, it was fantastic. And today will be even better, what with the day off, and the museum, and being waited on hand and foot at the MoMA's cafe. And that's not even counting the NBC Experience Store, or the bookstore I plan to go to!
