Original text moved below fold. Taking ferret branca's suggestion and nailing down the date/place. Hope to meet you all, and maybe I'll bring Gillian with me. If you're thinking "OMG, 9 pm on a Sunday?!" remember that Monday is Memorial Day and most of you won't be working. [more inside]

Hey, I'm coming to Brooklyn on the weekend of June 5th to beat around and be a tourist for a bit. Anyone want to get drinks/dinner in the area? I heard the 4th Avenue Pub was good, but I don't know the area, so I'm open to other venues, and any time between Friday afternoon and Saturday night is fine by me. EDIT: Let's go to Mission Dolores! If people would prefer a different time, I'm definitely open to changing that until like a week before I come down.
Hey! I'm mid-move between Jersey City and Philadelphia, and this weekend I'll be in the area grabbin' some stuff. Let's maybe do a thing? [more inside]
edit: Friday, December 26 at the 4th Ave Pub it is then! See you all there! Original: NY Mefites! I'll be in New York from Christmas Day till New Year and I'd like to meet any and all of you. My schedule is open so far* and a date between 26-30 would probably work best. I'll be staying in Brooklyn (near DeKalb Ave) though venturing outside the borough is fine too if most people prefer that. Shall we have the last meetup of 2014? [more inside]
Edited to make it a Thing which is Happening. So I'm coming States-side in a bit over a week. It's mostly a family-visiting trip, rather than a tourism trip, and I'll be spending quite a bit of December in Dobbs Ferry. From there, it's pretty easy to get on a train to the city and do meeting type things there too. Anyone feel like meeting up? [more inside]
My husband is going to be doing on-site maintenance for his former employer and is bringing me along! [more inside]

Hey, NYC. Mr. Mustachio and I will be there from May 6th - May 12th and I would very much like to meet you, because you are some of my favorites and are clearly awesome. We're totally on vacation, so the time is flexible, and the place, to a certain extent, though we will be transit dependent. Also, we are very good at getting lost, so we might need help finding you. a big meetup would be fun, but if anyone wants to take us on a field trip or two, that would be fun, too.
Yeah, it's winter, and sure it's cold, but I wanna go hiking! With you. And possibly eat donuts. [more inside]

Watch freestylers take your suggestions and debate the relative merits of time travel, zoos, Cats: The Musical, and anything else you can think of. I'll personally be laying down the beats. And you... you can jump up on stage with us and take a shot at the crown! [more inside]

Thanks to the answers to my AskMe question, I will be floating around NYC from 9/2 through 9/4 with no firm plans on what to do. I will be staying in Brooklyn (Bushwick, wherever that may be) but I can go wherever the subway/train/bus will take me. Does anyone want to meet up for dinner or some other sort of hanging out?
