On behalf of the Chicago Chapter of the Cabal*, I repudiate the current rumor that there is "a rampant pro-billy goat prejudice" on Metafilter. Mr. quidnunc's allegations are scurrilous, pernicious, libelous, and, what's more, categorically untrue, and I reject them with the utmost strenulosity.
That bit of business concluded, I'm pleased to announce our seventieth or so monthly meetup, to be held on the first Wednesday of March at the famous Billy Goat Tavern! [more inside]
