Our first two installments of Geeks Who Drink trivia at The Rising have been such a success, we're going back for a third go around. Join us, a trivia host who can mostly pronounce all the questions, and perhaps an enthusiastic liquor company representative at 7:30 this Thursday in Inman Square.

It's been a while since we had a board game meetup in this area, so let's see whether there's interest in a new one. One of us could host it, or we could meet at a restaurant such as the Blue Shirt Cafe on Davis Square or a conveniently large Panera Bread like the one near Fenway Park. Based on past meetups, Knight Moves seems to have been a bust. A weekend, which would allow for the most play time, would probably be best. When and where sounds best to you all? Does anyone in the Boston area want to meet up and play cards? I'm open to any games less complicated than Bridge and more interesting than War. I don't know any great venues for card-playing off the top of head, but I'm sure we can think of something. Even if you don't know any games yourself, you're welcome to come: For my part, I'll bring one of those big books of card games.
