MeFi IRL

Mr. Conspiracy and I are going to be visiting Spokane at the end of July. We're free in the late afternoon and into the evening of Friday, August 3 and I'm wondering if there are any Spokane or Spokane-adjacent MeFites who want to get together for a meetup. Thinking a hangout involving drinks, food and mellow conversation in a reasonably chill venue in/around downtown Spokane. Suggestions welcome - we've visited before and we know there are some great beverages and eats to be had in that town.

I think we should have a meetup because it feels like it's been a while. I propose we meet at Mi Rancho in Silver Spring because it has an outside space, it's nearish the Metro, and restaurants with margaritas are good for drinkers and non-drinkers alike. [more inside]

I know there are a bunch of expectant MeFi parents in the DC area (and maybe some recent parents?) so I thought it would be nice if we could have a meetup to keep ourselves sane(ish) and get a chance to check in with other intelligent, thoughtful adults going through the same thing. Some MeFites were together last night and decided it was time to call a meetup on the east side of town, in particular at Tunnicliff's, which is relatively spacious, quiet, and near the metro. MrMoonPie suggested we meet around inauguration time. Perhaps a weeknight the week prior? The inauguration is on Monday, January 21.
