I know several of us grow vegetable gardens. Is there any interest in an autumnal harvest-themed food meetup? Not sure what the best month would be; wouldn't necessarily have to be at the very end of autumn. Take some foodstuffs you've grown and either bring it raw or as (part of) a dish of some kind.

This thread got me thinking about how much fun the last tasting was and now I'm thirsty for another one. I'm willing to host unless someone else wants to. Any interest? Sometime in December, maybe? To give the holidays a rosy happy glow?

There is a fruit beer fest going down at burnside brewing the 11th and 12th. I was planning on going saturday evening and figured I would link things here to notify the general community and see if anyone was interested in organizing something more formal. taplist
