Exhibition: Former Metafilter Project being shown in Park Slope
I'm opening a little show at Lucey's Lounge in Park Slope, hanging some of my "Impermanence" prints and photos on wood. These are large images of feathers, decorated skulls and butterflies. There will be an extended Happy Hour featuring some of their awesome cocktails made with homemade mixers and syrups. There may or may not be popcorn, and there's an awesome pizza spot next door.
Conveniently located on 3rd Ave and 10th st in Park Slope right off the 4th Ave/9th St R and F stop, I hear there's lots of roads too! [more inside]

Hey, I'm coming to Brooklyn on the weekend of June 5th to beat around and be a tourist for a bit. Anyone want to get drinks/dinner in the area? I heard the 4th Avenue Pub was good, but I don't know the area, so I'm open to other venues, and any time between Friday afternoon and Saturday night is fine by me. EDIT: Let's go to Mission Dolores! If people would prefer a different time, I'm definitely open to changing that until like a week before I come down.

Performance: Blackwolf Beach/Three Mefites...one band
Hey, our (capnsue, josher71, petulant beard) band, Blackwolf Beach is playing at Grand Victory in Brooklyn at 8pm on the 21st of September. It would be awesome to see some mefites there and have an impromptu meetup of sorts. We are from Baltimore but would love to meet some NYC mefites.
