Anyone interested in attempting a Burning Man meetup?

I'm not staying for the duration. I'm arriving Monday night and leaving Saturday morning, and Wednesday will be full of a project I'm helping with. So... anyone interested in getting together on Tuesday, Thurs or Fri?

Let's have another midweek Metafilter meetup on the playa this year!

We'll be meeting up at changeling's camp, Dust & Stars, at 3 PM on Wednesday. The camp is located at 2:45 and Foxglove (despite the pin on the map up there - turns out it's suprisingly tricky to get Google maps to accurately pinpoint locations in BRC!)

Set your watches for Playa time and join all your Burner buddies for a midday MeFi meetup!

From aubilenon: * The camp is the Snack Food Glory Hole. We feed you snacks. Through a hole! The way nature intended! * We're a big enough camp that the camp's be easy to find, and a small enough camp that the meetup will be easy to find. * We'll have some nice shade structures and nice drinks. And of course nice snacks. So we don't have to wander to center camp, and if people don't show up at mid-afternoon on the dot they won't get left behind. * rosa also is camped with SFGH. Our camp is publicly open for snacking in the later afternoon (Wednesday we open at 3 for our Advanced Snack Hour), so why don't you nice folks come by around then for a snack and a drink, and hang out in our shade structure and watch passers by eat weird things through a hole!
