I'm thinking I, and probably others, would enjoy an immediate post-Thanksgiving meet-up, to do some social stretching for those of us cooped up the days prior. [more inside]

Back to the LES because life is beautiful, the bars are beautiful and even the drinks are beautiful. We've been to Local 138 and the Magician and while I would be completely happy going back to either (especially the Magician), I was wondering if anyone had any other bars in that neighborhood they were fond of and wanted to hit. It has been quite a while since our last adventure to Tired Hands in Ardmore. I'm going to be visiting family in the Portland area between November 27th and December 3rd, and I would love to gather sometime toward the end of my trip. A few weeks ago in MetaChat, Lutoslawski told me about a bitchin' sounding men's underwear emporium called UnderU4Men in downtown Southwest Portland. While we don't have to all buy men's underwear at the same time, it would be cool to time that visit with some mefi-jam-packed local beers and cocktail magic drinkies out on the town. I've not been to Portland in a few years, so please suggest some fabulous places for our extended temporal collision. It's like a potluck that we all make together at their kitchen, and also feed families of sick kids. [more inside]
