This was pulled together on the spur of the moment, apologies for the short notice. A couple of us will be getting together Saturday evening to start batches of homebrew beer, and thought, what the hell, throw it onto IRL to see who else might want to show up. Although beer-making will be going on, the overall theme of "beer" certainly includes those who enjoy drinking it even if they don't get into making it. I'll be smoking some meats; bring other food and beer and we'll hang out....it's just that simple, really.

I'll be bringing no less than 2 six packs of already brewed beer to enjoy while brewing our own (It takes beer to make beer, right?).

Yes, I should probably mention that the beermaking process includes weeks of waiting while it ferments and ages, so - no homebrews for us on this particular evening. Store-bought refreshments are necessary this time. ...But NEXT time, assuming we start a new batch before we finish drinking this eventual batch....

Apart from the fact that we never got around to actually making any beer...and the iPhone-vs-Android brouhaha that indelibly stained the end of the evening and we hate each other forever now...I had a completely lovely time. Thanks for coming!
