Hello! I'm new to town, and would love nothing more than meeting a bunch of weirdos from the internet. :) ...Update: we'll be at Falling Rock on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 4:30 pm. Come one, come all!
ooh Denver! god I've been so bad at these things lately. This is what happens when you get married to someone who shares your same active lifestyle, and then start house renovations, it kind of screws up your social life...
ANYWAY. Yes, please! I'm always for Denver meetups, the closer in to central downtown, the better (from my POV, anyhow) because I live in Boulder and would need / prefer to take the bus and not have to drive.
Hmm. Weekend of the 10th (Saturday) is our big business soiree at my work. So I guess I'll vote for not that day.

I can make it on the 3rd. I'm going down there to visit my lovely wife, and hopefully I'll be moving there soon, so it'd be great to meet some Denverites.

Like lonefrontranger, I too, have the Holiday Work Event the weekend of the 10th, presumably on Friday. Saturday of that weekend might work, but the weekend of the 3rd is free, as far as I can tell.
Where should we have it? Downtown seems to be the most central for everyone -- we could try Falling Rock again...

I'm free at any time the weekend of the 3rd except for the evening of the 3rd itself (going to The Nutcracker, which starts at 7:30). I'm fine with doing something that afternoon, though.

I think the 3rd works great as well. My gf will want to go and I believe that works for her too! Saturday afternoon downtown sounds swell.

Someone mentioned Falling Rock. I went there this weekend with my understanding, wonderful wife. It seems like a pretty chill place with lots of room for sitting and mingling, especially if we go there in the late afternoon, like 430pm or 5pm, on the 3rd.
Of course, if someone has a better suggestion, that's cool.
What does everyone think?

OK I lied. The afternoon is a little tricky. My daughter's school's holiday performance (? she's 1½) is at 6pm. But I shall try and pop along for an hour beforehand.

sugarbomb: not with Colorado Ballet, but with Boulder Ballet + Longmont Symphony. I love the show but don't think I could stand doing it 30 times in a month! We only do it twice which is the right amount for me.

Bugger. I left for the light rail and when I got near realized I had forgotten my wallet... doh. Since I would have had to leave at 5.30 anyway it's not worth me coming now. I'll check in on here later on. I should be able to get there by 8 if anyone is staying later.
