ah, man... the RSS feed and proposed events page are busted, so anyone who relies on them to find meetups won't see this... I've hit the contact form with a bug report...

looks like this saturday counts Tom out, but someone won't be making it if we schedule before TNJ gets back.
for locations, Workshop? Riverland can be quite nice in winter as long as it's not absolutely pissing with rain (shelter and outdoor heaters ftw!). we had the MeFi 10th at The Standard, which works on a saturday arvo.
or we could always try somewhere new...

Another suggestion: What about a Sunday afternoon instead?

I just got tickets to the roller derby this Saturday night, so I can't make it anymore. On the one hand, sweet! I thought they were sold out, but my friends got me a spare just in case. Thanks, friends! On the other hand, I was looking forward to this. So have a good time and let's do it again soon.

I can do Sunday arvos- later is better because I play soccer middday on Sundays.
So, did we finalize a date yet? Looks like not many of us can make it this Saturday after all. Maybe this Sunday, or one of the next couple of weekends?

We should def do another one in August, and if we plan it early enough, I'll even suggest we do it on a Friday night, as I know Friday's are good for just about everyone who isn't me. With sufficient warning I should be able to wag work on a Friday evening.
Ro might come along with me to get a sausage if she doesn't get a better offer from people much younger than us.
